Here are a few games that are fun and that, to the best of my knowledge, can be played easily without a controller: 'Thomas Was Alone' - a fun platformer with beautiful narration. 'FTL: Faster Than Light' - Excellent strategic space combat game. Lots of replayability. 'Limbo' - Another excellent platformer with some light puzzle elements and a pitch-black sense of humor. 'Besiege' - A goofy physics-based medieval siege engine creator. This is a little tough to play with the trackpad, but doable and definitely worth the money.
'FEZ' - A very addictive puzzle-platformer with a unique 2D/3D combination. These are just a few suggestions that are very easy to lose a few hours to, don't require tons of horsepower, and can be easily played with just a trackpad/keyboard. I can add more if you like! Oh, this is my specialty.
I travel a lot and I always try to have a few games on my MBPr (late 2013 8 GB) to kill time that aren't graphically demanding, aren't affected by MBP/OS X's shortcomings and can be played without a mouse. Here are some suggestions, I can specify more if you say what kind of games you like: Roguelikes • The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth • Crypt of the Necromancer • Darkest Dungeon • Dungeons of Dredmor • FTL • Neo Scavenger • Risk of Rain • Tales of Maj'Eyal: one of the best traditional roguelikes imho, I have it on Steam, but it's free on its website. Really tough. RPG • LISA: it's like a darker, crazier, side scrolling Earthbound. • The Banner Saga: SRPG, it runs very hot so I wouldn't play it on battery • Shadowrun Returns/Dragonfall: more like a cRPG, I've been playing these (and Chronicles) lately, but they also run very hot. I bought Divinity OS and Pillars of Eternity too and their performance seems atrocious on my MBP, so I'll play them on a PC. Platformers (best played on a gamepad for the most part) • Braid • Cave Story+: the first indie hit and still one of the best metroidvanias ever.
How to find Microsoft Office Excel Version on a Mac? Ask Question 3. How can I find the version of MS Excel in a Mac system. I followed this link but I am not sure what version 15.17 corresponds to. Is it MS Office 2013 or MS Office 2016? Macos microsoft-excel. 1 - Product name, such as Office 365 ProPlus or Office Home and Student. 2 - Version number, which includes version, build number, and the type of installation such as Click-to-run or Windows Store. For more information, such as the bit-version, choose About Excel. The About Word (or Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) dialog box displays, listing the current version number and the build number. If you see Version 15.x, you’re using Office for Mac 2016. If you see Version 14.x, Office for Mac 2011 is what you’re using.
• Escape Goat 1 & 2: great puzzle platformers to play in short bursts. • FEZ: another charming puzzle platformer. I'm think it's a bit overrated, but it's still worth playing. • Offspring Fling: more puzzle.
• Stealth Bastard Deluxe: good and simple stealth platformer. • SteamWorld Dig: Short but fun, sort of a mixture between a metroidvania and Spelunker with all the digging. • Thomas Was Alone: super short, super simple, super fun puzzle platformer. • Toki Tori 1 & 2+: even more puzzles. There's an incredible amount of amazing platformers for OS X on Steam, but I wouldn't recommend playing them without gamepad on a laggy OS and a laggy screen: Broforce, Dust: An Elysian Tail, Dustforce, Electronic Super Joy, Guacamelee, Mark of the Ninja, Savant: Ascent, Shovel Knight, Super Meat Boy, Unepic, Valdis Story. Others • Prison Architect: I'm not a big fan of city building games, but I enjoy building and managing a prison from time to time. • Don't Starve: also not a big fan of survival games, but I've sunk quite a few hours on this one.
