Outlook For Mac Follow-up

I use MS Office 365 and Outlook client. I generally sort my mail by received date, but I use the follow up flag for mail I need to go back to and action, so I sort by Follow Up and then date.

This seems to work well, I have all my follow up items at the top of my outlook client, then all my other mail listed by date received. However, when I clear the follow up flag, the email that now has no flag is shown after the follow up items, but before all of the rest of the emails, which are still in received date order. So, an email that I received on September 1st 2013, if it was flagged for follow up and then that flag cleared, will appear above an email received on September 24th 2013, even though my sort order is follow up items, then all other items by receive date.

Tp link wn321g driver mac. If I just sort by receive date, everything is fine, as soon as I click on the follow up flag header to sort those, the problem shows up. So essentially my sort order now is follow up, any email that was ever flagged as follow up and now isn't, then all other email by receive date.

Can anyone give me a pointer on how to get mail that's had the follow up flag cleared to sort within the rest of my email normally?

The users with Outlook for Windows use colored follow up flags, and they can all see the colors. From Outlook for Mac 2011, I only see that a flag is set, not the colors they see. Can my ability to see the colors be turned on with some setting?
