I have a Mac Pro made in late 2008 running El Capitan and I want to install Windows 7 using BootCamp. I tried to use a virtual machine and it will install windows 7 but it will not give me access to the soundcard. I am wanting to install it for using a multi-track audio software Sonar so this will not do. Therefore I would much rather boot the Windows 7 separately from the Mac OS, as I don’t use the Mac OS for much anyway. I tried to install using the BootCamp assistant, but when I do instead of giving you 3 options as is normal, it only gives me the last 2 options.
