If you'd like a user flair reflecting that. The Xbox OG port will be back, it will have to be backported to the new codebase of RA. Lots of changes happened under the hood and some of the old systems took a bit of rebasing to get back to work. But yes, I no longer delay releases for platforms like that. Previously I would delay new releases for an entire half a year just because some specific platform was not ready yet but instead I'm going to go for rolling weekly releases and I think we can have far more measurable progress then.

Regarding Xbox: Xbox OG port is going to return, Xbox 360, no, cannot develop on that anymore, don't have the devbox anymore or the ability to push code to it. That is music to my ears! Xbox OG is what I'm aiming for.

I softmodded my Xbox OG and Wii because they were simple and had the advantage of running homebrew. While I own a 360, I found trying to mod it in any way a much more challenging task, so in the end I left it alone untouched. It also seems to be a bit of a beast to develop on anyway based on various things I read back when I was looking into modding it. So, thank you for your communication and development. I pretty much tell every gamer I know about RetroArch/Libretro and have many happy stories as the result.

That joke went right over your head, I see. WINE stands for ' WINE Is Not an Emulator' But yeah, WINE isn't an emulator. Nothing is being emulated, as the processor can execute the same instructions regardless of the operating system.

WINE is merely a UNIX-compatible implementation of the Windows API. As for whether or not Darwine is portable, I couldn't tell you. I don't use a Mac. Oh, and there's no such thing as an 'exe emulator.' EXE is merely a file format used to contain an executable program. That's like calling Photoshop, which can open and save PNGs (among other formats), a 'PNG emulator.' - [aim: fatcerberus] I have no witty remarks or quotes to share at the moment.

That depends on how new your Mac is. The current generation of Macs all have Intel x86 processors. For some reason, I seem to take that fact for granted as if Macs always had Intel processors. Edit: Just found out that Darwine can't run Windows EXEs on PowerPC processors.

From the FAQ. Is the Darwin/Mac OS X release of Wine currently able to run Windows executable (.exe)?
