There are several sims out there in the market, each with its own strengths, weaknesses and even purposes. You have 2 major types of simulators: civilian and military. The military sims are usually more limited than the civilian counterparts, but people may find them 'more fun' since there are usually missions to fly, stuff to blow up and the user engagement can be bigger and more immersive for some virtual pilots.
