I am having issues with my Outlook.com email syncing to my MacBook. The problem is the same whether I use Outlook 2016 for Mac or Mac Mail. The issues began after I turned on two-factor authentication, however, I turned it off two days ago with no correction of the problem. I have contacted Microsoft Support Desk to help me with the Outlook 2016 for Mac and Apple to help with the issue of Mac Mail. In both instances, no concrete solutions were established. I have even reinstalled my entire OS but the issue is still there. 13' MacBook Pro with OS X 10.10.5 (fresh install) Outlook.com email not syncing properly with either Mac Mail or Outlook 2016 for Mac.

Paragon driver for mac. In Mac Mail, the emails download/sync then gives the error: 'Mail was unable to open this mailbox on the server “imap-mail.outlook.com”. The server returned the error: Select Command is not permitted in current state (NotAuthenticatedServerError)' With Outlook 2016 for Mac, the mail will sync then stop for a couple of hours and then begin re-syncing again.

My emails are never up to date. I also have 2 Gmail accounts and 1 iCloud accounts and they sync perfectly in both apps.
